Sales Manager

Establish relationship with fashion designers and target profitable accounts. Identify smaller designers as potential leads for subordinates to develop. Evaluate competition and develop new sales strategies. Travel abroad to search for new partners and fabric suppliers. Assist brands and stores with timely and affordable product development. Recruit and train new salespeople on the specifics of fashion and fabric industry. Develop sales strategies, goals and plans for sales team. Set fabric margin for different segments based on research of the brands budget. Coach and motivate sales staff to maximize performance and generate revenue. Measure and forecast sales volume each quarter based on customer sampling. Evaluate performance of sales personnel. Resolve fabric claims and delivery schedule issues to maintain customer satisfaction. Tools and techniques. Indepth knowledge of fashion textile fabric. Extensive knowledge of the supply side of the industry. Communication skills with diverse multicultural customers and suppliers overseas. Ability to establish a trusting and continuous relationship with the buyer. Mentoring and coaching skills to motivate sales people in order to reach budget goals.
